*PINKY PARADISE - CIRCLE LENSES*

image
What are circle lenses?
Circle lenses, also known as a big eye contact lens, are a type of cosmetic contact lens that makes the eye's iris appear larger. It makes the eyes look rounder and more shiny, usually being used in cosplays or for styles such as "gyaru" or "ulzzang" (typically meaning 'best face') due to the adorable look it gives and how it makes your eyes 'pop'.

The circle lens trend
It has become a large trend worldwide to wear these adorable lenses. The large fashion accessory first originated with countries such as Japan, South Korea and China, being largely produced in these countries. They were first made popular when celebrities such as "Hyuna" and the K-pop group "SNSD" started wearing them. From here, other celebrities such as "Lady GaGa" has in-cooperated them in order to achieve the big eyed dolly look.

Where can I buy Circle Lenses?
PinkyParadise, a super cute online store which has solely dedicated to the selling of circle lenses and adorable accessories and products.

image
(if you want to see accessories etc please visit their page, you will not be disappointed! But for now I am simply focusing on the circle lens section!)
Their page is covered with adorable lace and decoration so it immediately catches your attention, not to mention the 'ANTI FAKE' and "100% secure online shopping" sign at the top, so you are not putting your eyes or money at risk here!
image
image
image
The site is extremely easy to navigate around, all you do is hover over a title and voila! a small dropbox menu falls down so you can pick whatever you are looking for~
image
imageimage
image
As you can also see they allow you to search using specific categories such as 'Brands', which then pops up with all the available categories. With so many things to choose from, why would you shop anywhere else? The "Geo Princess" series are absolutely adorable and really help you to achieve the real 'Dolly Look' you see over the internet! (if you are also looking for a specific feature of the lenses you want, on the side they have a "refined search" column too!)
image
Which lenses should I choose?
The great thing about PinkyParadise is that on the menu (shown above) they have categories such as "by effect" or "by cosplay" etc, that way you just need to know what sort of thing you want to look for and then PinkyParadise has done all the rest whilst providing you with a large selection! For example, if I want to find a pair with different effects:
image
image
image
just scroll to the circle lenses then drop down to effect, either just click on it for all available lenses OR select a particular category!
image
image
image
Find a particular lens and then click on it to read reviews and/or to pay for them~! Easy peasy right?
image
But I don't know they will look like on me?
Well this is also a great thing PinkyParadise does! They place up model pictures so you will get an idea of what they will look like on you, also having CUSTOMER photos too! Handy right? You can't go wrong with this (and I am sure you will look amazing in the lenses you choose!)
image
image
image
How do I pay for them?
image
image
image
As you can see here, this is the menu that will appear after you click on the pair of lens. It will state the price, diameter, water content etc so that you are fully informed about what the features of the lenses are! There are then options you can fill out if you are on prescription which is always super good! The rest such as quantity bought you probably already know how to fill in! Reviews are also just underneath the picture of lenses!

BUT GUESS WHAT?! YOU ALSO GET A FREE CUTE ANIMAL LENS CASE WITH EVERY ORDER OR LENSES AND FREE EXPRESS SHIPPING FOR ORDERS $130 OR OVER! (you know you want them right!?)

PLEASE CHECK: expiry date when you receive/buy your lenses!
The expiry date indicates whether the SOLUTION that your lens are in has expired, NOT the lens itself.

Basic Care for Your Circle Lenses:
image
DON'T
image
-DO NOT wear them straight after you open them. Place in fresh lens cleansing solution and let soak for at least 4 hours.
-DO NOT sleep with them on under any circumstances!
-While wearing them, try to avoid rubbing your eyes. The lenses could fall out, or get stuck somewhere in your eyes (not trying to scare you, but keep it in mind)

-DO NOT apply with long nails for the first few times you try to wear them. This way you can reduce any chance of you damaging your eyes whilst trying to apply (since they are extremely fiddly!)
image
DO
image
-After taking them out, always put back in FRESH solution. After the first time, you only have to soak them for 1-2 hours before wearing again.
-Be sure to thoroughly wash your hands before you put the lenses in and take them out.

- Carry your lens case with fresh solution in it with you whenever you wear your lenses, so you can take them out at any time.

- Carry around re-wetting drops so you can apply some to your eyes if they feel dry at any time!

*MCM MAY EXPO, SATURDAY*

image
Hello there little lovelies~ how are you all today?
Today I am posting about the MCM London expo held on Saturday!
I BOUGHT £70 WORTH OF ACCESSORIES + A WIG
take a looksie here:
image
okay so it isn't the clearest picture ever but I will upload a clearer one in a little bit, just keep reading if you want to!
image
So what did I look like there? (IF YOU GUYS SAW ME PLEASE CONTACT ME!) Here is a before and after picture of me without and then with makeup~
Big difference kinda right? Well the after photo was me after I had my eyeliner done (by this lovely girl) and after I had drawn on my little kitty whiskers + added lip colour c: Also, you may notice that my fringe looks different~ that is because I decided to cut the wig and I tell you IT WAS SO HARD, URGH IT WAS SO THICK AND I SWEAR THE SCISSORS ARE BROKEN NOW D: I might do a makeup tutorial sometime~?
Oh and here are some more pictures of me+the people who came (are all my family+the girl standing next to me wearing the purple seifuku is my best friend as mentioned earlier~!)
image
image
okay, they are not THAT clear, but you get the idea of it right? :D
image
ONTO THE THINGS I BOUGHT THERE! HERE IS THE PICTURE EARLIER BUT IN A CLEARER FORM:
image

image
So what is in this picture?
♥kitten gloves
♥pink wig with 2 curly extension clips (can straighten)
♥wig cap
♥kitty maid ears (clearer picture further down)
♥maid headband
♥white kitten ears w/bells
♥devil horn clips
♥hello kitty lensless glasses
♥bell collar
♥cute grey eared beanie
Truthfully I just wanted to buy out the whole place, and I wanted a flower crown but they were hell too expensive! (I can just buy one on Ebay or something~!) I am also extremely excited to use the wig and maybe do a review on the quality of it (but I will definitely post better pictures later on in another post to discuss if it really is heat durable etc!)!
image
image
So this is the picture of the devil horns I mentioned earlier, the clips are kind of hard to put on and really fiddly but overall they were in really good condition! They came in either a red or black colour but I preferred the black ones because they would go well with more of my things~!

This is the kitten maid headband I bought, I took 2 pictures in order for you to get a better look at the quality of the headband since there is a lot of lace etc involved. It is extremely well made and sits well on my head~ if I remember correctly i bought this for £8, a bit pricey-ish but oh well, I might have regretted not buying it in the end!
image
Well that concludes all the products bought, I got alot of photos of me taken from other people (I tell you, my posing was really meh!) Overall I had an amazing day and I hope that anyone else who went also had a fabulous shopping spree+day with all fellow cosplayers/fans! My best friend spent about £200 on merchandise purely on Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler:

(photo was taken by her)
She also got a poster as well but I can't find the picture, such is the life of a fangirl for anime~! We agreed to do a cosplay where I am Ciel and she is Lizzy, sounds fun right?
Anyway goodbye everyone and look forward to a review on either my wig or facemasks I recently bought~ oh the excitement huhu >w<!
